Often seen walking round the studio pulling out his hair (mainly grey), and often heard saying, "what is that you're playing"? and then "are you sure that's on our playlist"?
Bill is the Station Manager and has been since the start in 1995, he is also presenting 'Drive Time' in 2006 for the first time, which can be heard weekdays between 5pm and 7pm, which includes the usual HCR format of music, and lots of traffic & travel and maybe some guest interviews. He will also be presenting our community access programme 'Over to You', with the help of producer David Brockman. This can be heard between 7pm and 8pm on weekday evenings. Interested in getting your group on air? - contact David Brockman
He is 54 and a half years old, and lives with wife Pam (who presents as well), and son Wills, his interests are, broadcasting (obviously), trying to lose a bit of weight, and doing voluntary work. He is also an elected member of the Cambridgeshire County Council, and because of this keeps a constant eye on the political balance of HCR, quote: "we must be totally apolitical if we are to succeed as a community station"
