This listening experience so warped his tiny little mind that he formed an overwhelming ambition to become a presenter. This ambition was quickly realised and at the same time he also gained experience in other areas of radio broadcasting through holding posts such as Chief Engineer, Head of Training, Programme Controller, Studio Manager and Head of Broadcasting on various Forces Radio Stations both here in the UK and abroad whilst serving in the RAF.
On leaving the forces Bob worked on a number of Hospital Radio Stations up and down the country from Barrow-in-Furnace to Weston-super-Mare before finally coming to work and live in Huntingdon.
Bob has also been active for a number of years in Community Radio recently leading a community radio group in Weston-super-Mare through the (sadly unsuccessful) bidding process to win a full time (sallie) broadcasting licence.
Bob has also briefly been involved with the Splash FM project in Bedford, before joining the HCR team back in 2000.
