Chris started his radio career at Radio Hinchingbrooke here in Huntingdon. From his regular Saturday morning show at the hospital radio, he moved on to join Ray and Pam as part of the Lazy Afternoon Show on HCR. His ambition to learn and succeed in radio took him to Peterborough where for three years Chris studied Media & Communications and Journalism Law as well as presenting on the internet student radio station.
He left college with voluntary work at Hereward FM & work experience at Lite FM under his belt and began work with shopping TV channel Ideal World. His passion for radio took him to the BBC whilst at Ideal World and Chris freelanced with BBC Radio Cambridgeshire as a technical operator/producer.
Upon leaving Ideal World Chris joined BBC Radio Cambridgeshire's Breakfast Show in Peterborough for a short time before moving to Lite FM where he became the evening show presenter and creative producer. Whilst at Lite FM Chris attracted very healthy audience figures and his evening show was broadcast across Northamptonshire on Lite's sister station Connect FM.
Chris has now returned to Peterborough's flagship station, Hereward FM, and also works freelance with the Lincs FM group of stations.
Chris' ambition is now to help get a radio station fulltime for the county in which he began his career - Huntingdonshire!
Main Hobbies: listening to music, enjoying a beer with friends and enjoying comedy shows.
Favourite Places: Ummm....Ramsey (because I live there!), Huntingdon (especially KFC on St Peter's Road) and ummm....Skeggy?
Favourite Food: Indian, KFC and cheese lettuce & salad cream sandwiches!
