Sue Rodwell Smith

Sue is now retired, having spent most of her working life in the corporate world, latterly as Director of Human Resources within an IT distribution company.  With an entrepreneurial ‘bent’, she has owned and run an antique shop, delicatessen and an IT recruitment business.  Music and radio has always been part of her life with a very eclectic taste from classical to modern day genres.  Still very busy in retirement, Sue is on various committees supporting the local community and in 2013 joined Radio Addenbrookes as a co-presenter on their Saturday show.  Having ‘cut her teeth’ in hospital radio Sue joined the team at HCR104fm in 2016 as an assistant presenter on our ‘Sunday Supplement’ and from November 2016 is the presenter on our 2pm to 5pm, HCRpm show, every Thursday.  Director of her local amateur dramatic society she is bringing her experience to HCR104fm as the Director of the station’s new soap drama ‘Huntsford’, scheduled to be aired in the first quarter of 2017.
