Kelvin Taber

Kelvin is presenting Start the Day, Monday to Friday 8am to 11am with local traffic updates and plenty of humour to keep you on the move. He has covered many slots on HCR before presenting this current show for the first time. Kelvin gained his experience whilst working on Hinchingbrooke Hospital Radio, as interest in music started around the age of 16 when he was a mobile DJ for Steve Allan entertainments in Peterborough for several years.

Main hobbies are playing the guitar, collecting old rock and roll records, and enjoying comedy shows.

Kelvin gained his script writing and interviewing techniques whilst attending ex radio 1 presenter Bruno Brookes radio school, and realising there was more to being a presenter than spinning CD's, scary.

He also does a show for an internet radio station because he just loves being in front of a microphone.

His favourite food is quite simply egg and chips.
