Follow the flame with HCR104fm
This Sunday, the 8th July 2012, we welcome the Olympic torch to Huntingdon! Follow the progress of the flame in our broadcast area live on the breakfast show with Martin West from 07:00-10:00.
The flame is picked up at 7:50am in St Ives and will take a route along Meadow Lane, Cromwell Place, Market Hill, The Pavement, The Broadway, The Waits, Ramsey Road and onto A1123 Houghton Road.
The Torch will then travel to Huntingdon, arriving at about 8:18am, and will be taken through the town via Main Street, Desborough Road, Mayfield Road, Hartford Road, Riverside Road, High Street, George Street then finally onto Brampton Road. The next stop is then Bedford.
We'll have reporters scattered across St Ives and Huntingdon as the torch enters our region reporting live into the breakfast show, so if you can't make it down to the torch locations then make sure you follow the flame here on HCR104fm.
