HCR Awards Night

The 2011 Awards went to:

The Let Me Entertain You Award - Kelvin Taber - Presenter of the Year
The Song of the Year Award - Rumer - Aretha
The Happy Talk Award - Coversure - Advert of the Year
The Ray De Yowe Award - Mark Box - Newcomer of the Year
The Going the extra Mile Crophone Award - David Potter
The Radio GaGa Award - Matt Rix - Producer of the Year

The staff and volunteers decended on the Darjeeling in Huntingdon for a fabulous evening - they laid on a lovely meal and did us proud. Lots of fun, lots of chat, meeting other volunteers who lots of people hadn't met before, and a bit of merriment of course. Tony Obee hosted the awards ceremony, and Station Manager Bill Hensley handed out the award certificates.
