New programme for Sunday evenings

HCR104fm is planning it's first birthday St Georges Day weekend in April 2012. We also have a new show called Brief Encounters in which different guests talk about ten of their favourite songs and what the songs mean to them, while sitting in an imaginary  railway station waiting room. The programme, a bit like Dessert Island discs is going out on Sundays at 7pm and is presented by Matthew Rix. If you would like to be a guest on this show, telling us about the music you like and why, or you wish to nominate someone suitable, please email the producer, ross.kitson@hcrfm.co.uk or call 01480 414104 and leave Ross a message.

Says Executive Producer David Brockman, "We are grateful to those giving up time to come in and take part in programmes and to the huge following of listeners to the station this past year. We also thank local businesses who have support us financially with advertising and sponsorships, and funding bodies like Young Lives and Huntingdon Freemans' Charity, who have given grants. We look forward to a second year of giving Huntingdonshire local features which support so much community activity that is going on, plus the quality familiar popular music of the mainly 1960's to 2010's that people like so much. Here's to another year of us entertaining and informing, and you good people listening in increasing numbers" You can also follow HCR104fm at www.facebook.com/hcrfm
