Station Manager elected as Deputy Mayor
Last Thursday (10th May 2012), our station manager, Bill Hensley, was elected as Deputy Mayor of Huntingdon for 2012/13.
Bill will be deputy to Mayor and Councillor Colin Hyams who described the position to be an honour and a privilege after taking over from outgoing Mayor Alan Mackender Lawrence. Their year in office, for both Colin and Bill, looks to be an interesting one with the Queen's Diamond Jubliee celebrations and the Olympic Torch relay heading this way.
We are proud of Bill for being elected as the Deputy Mayor for Huntingdon and if you have any questions for Bill, or would like to contact him, please email bill.hensley@hcrfm.co.uk. You can also contact Mayor Colin Hyams and council staff at Huntingdon Town Council at the Town Hall, Market Hill, Huntingdon, PE29 3PJ or call 01480 411883
We've uploaded some photos of Bill looking very dapper in his new Mayor wear for your enjoyment!
