At 16 years old, Philip is the youngest presenter on HCR, he says he's on a long learning curve, and wants to get into radio for a living.

Since joining HCR, Philip has got a job with BBC Three Counties radio working in all areas of radio. He has now joined Hospital Radio Bedford, hospital radio being the first step into radio.

He presented his first show on HCR in August 2003 and did a sterling job.

Along the way, he has added to the experience by running a mobile disco and giving the donations received to various charities including, Autism Bedford, Bedford Primrose Appeal, Keech cottage children's hospice in Luton and Ridgeway School in Kempston, Bedford to name just a few!!!!

In recognition of his work, in May 2003 he received a 'Mayor of Bedford award for voluntary service' in the under 25 category, followed up in July with the Alban Middle School 'Chair of Governors award' for 'Pupil of the year.' If that wasn't enough he then got an award from the High Sheriff of Bedford in recognition of valuable work in the community.
