Simon has been with HCR for 5 years presenting various programmes. You can hear him every weekday morning as he co-presents the 6am 'Early Breakfast' with Bob who aim to coax you out of the bed and get to work. A little light banter, the odd belly-laugh here and there, and of course a canter through the morning papers provide a perfect kick start to the dawn. What else would you rather be doing at 6am?
Simon also presents on a Thursday from 2am 'The Overnighter'. This show is usually a mixture of great tracks, banter, interesting quizzes and strange facts and figures, everything you need to know for that pub quiz!
Over the years, his music collection has expanded to include a wide range of musical genres from the latest main-stream tracks to artists operating under the surface struggling to make a break though; often great talent waiting to be discovered. 'Music you have yet to hear, but which should be in your collection'. His great belief and extensive knowledge in this field this has led to the creation of 'A Different Beat'. He sub-titles the programme 'A Musical Education', and that is exactly what it is. Two hours of stimulating music.
His hobbies include having a blast or two on his keyboard, reading autobiographies, socialising with friends, and not to mention purchasing CDs!
Favourite Song: - Human Touch - Bruce Springsteen.
