In the coming weeks our Editorial team may well be approaching you, but by all means feel free to make contact with us as soon as possible to get the ball rolling. Some items on the programme will have been put together by our 6th form and youth volunteer team. We will do our best to ensure that Spotlight becomes a focus on arts, leisure an any fund-raising and charity "events" organised, while we are on the air. If you would like us to mention your panto, quiz night, sports event, anything you have going on from 24th November up to the 2008 January/February panto season, email the team at Spotlight, telling us what you are organising, where the event is being held, the dates, times and ticket prices, how and where the tickets can be obtained, and a bit about your event, and we will put it on a special web page, Spotlight Events, and broadcast details on the Friday shows, as time allows.
Spotlight is one of HCR's "musical special" programmes, so rest assured in between the events news, David and Chris will play an assortment of film and tv related popular music classics from Sheena Eastons' "For Your Eyes Only" from the Bond movies, to Jimmy Nails' "Crocodile Shoes" hit. We want to play your favourite film and tv songs and music, so please send us an email at Spotlight stating which song or piece of music you want played with your name and who its for, and we can guarantee, almost any item you ask for we will have stored on HCRFM's huge computer or as a CD.
Basically you name it and Spotlight will focus on it. The programme runs for two hours and there will be a few surprise guests interviews, including meeting out great sponsors (see below) Richard and Trish Peroni.
