Alex Stevens
Alex joined Huntingdon Community Radio in 2009 after presenting the chart show on Hinchingbrooke Hospital Radio on a Sunday afternoon. He has always had a passion for media and music and classes himself as a "bedroom mixer" - although occasionally he likes to bring his mixing skills into the studio!
Alex's first appointment on HCRfm was on the student group. He now takes part in the production and presenting of "The Student Zone", along with creating the graphics and promotional material to promote the show. It just shows where you can get to if you show enthusiasm!
HCRfm gives a lot to the community and I'm proud to say I'm a part of it; it's not just the people who live in a town it's what goes on inside the town and in this case it's the community which HCRfm helps to build.
What would you change about yourself if you could?
My voice, I think it's too deep? Wanna hit those high notes ;)
What is your biggest fear?
Spiders, snakes and all things creepy and crawly - such a man!
What do you love most about Huntingdonshire?
Such a great place to be! Lots of shops, near Cambridge, Peterborough and London! So not far from the night life! And of course, everyone knows where Cambridge is so you just say you live near-ish Cambridge and they think your smart ;)
