Alex Stevens

Hey I’m Alex, and part of the HCRfm Student Group. I help produce ‘The Student Zone’ show and occasionally you may find yourselves listening to me. I’ve been interested in radio since like forever! I love knowing that what I play or say could make or break someone’s day! And hopefully I always make it.

I’m studying A-Levels at Hinchingbrooke Sixth Form and putting aside this rather ‘geeky’ life of mine, like to mix, record, play and produce music as well as having a sneaky sing in the shower. So really, music and my social life keep me sane alongside working at Waitrose and Hinchingbrooke House & Performing Arts Centre. I’m also interested in the arts and love performing, just as I love entertaining via the radio.

HCRfm gives a lot to the community and I’m proud to say I’m a part of it; it’s not just the people who live in a town it’s what goes on inside the town and in this case it’s the community which HCRfm helps to build.

What would you change about yourself if you could?
My voice, I think it’s too deep? Wanna’ hit those high notes ;)

What is your biggest fear?
Spiders, snakes and all things creepy and crawly… such a man!

What do you love most about Huntingdonshire?
Such a great place to be! Lots of shops, near Cambridge, Peterborough and London! So not far from the night life! And of course, everyone knows where Cambridge is so you just say you live near-ish Cambridge and they think your smart ;)
