Isaac Brindley

Isaac's ambition of being a radio presenter all started at HCRfm when he joined the student group in 2007 as a trainee. For example, reading out local news, interviewing various guests and welcoming people to the station. Isaac's passion for sport provided an opportunity to co-present on the Saturday Sport show providing relief cover for regular presenters Ray Godby and Roger Smith.

This coming spring 2010 when HCRfm plans to launch full-time, Isaac has been given the co-presenter role permanently on the Sports Saturday Show and will be part of the Student Zone Show as well.  As well as being part of HCRfm, Isaac has been part of an internet Radio called 'C21 Web Radio', set up for younger people by Cambridgeshire Youth Service, where he has been presenting the Top 15 Chart Show.

Isaac is currently a sixth-former at Abbey College in Ramsey.  Isaac is delighted  have played a small part helping  HCRfm get its full licence,  as it was the place where he began what he hopes post-university will be a long media career, ideally in radio. With experience under his belt, Isaac is now 'mentoring' two other Abbey College students from lower forms, and all three are learning about radio drama production, as part of HCRfm's Huntsford soap team.

What would be your idea of a perfect day?
Waking up in the morning, to a full and hot English breakfast at the side of me. Next I would pack my bags and go to a European city for the day with some friends and do a bit of sightseeing there, and enjoy a traditional meal of my choice. I would then go home, but not going home in a normal car, instead I would ride home in a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Hunger strikes again, and Isaac would top off an amazing day with a lovely roast dinner.

What is in your CD player at home at them moment?
The chart music! Yes Isaac is one of the few people who still uses one!

What would you do if you didn't do radio?
I would train to become an airline pilot.
