Huntingdon Racecourse
Huntingdon Racecourse is an intimate racing venue with an atmosphere all of its own, located in the picturesque heart of East Anglia with stunning views.
It
was recently voted ‘Best Small Racecourse in the South Midlands and East Anglia’
by the Racegoers Club. The course is less than five minutes from the pretty
market town of Huntingdon set in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside,
and is home to 17 Jump race meetings, spanning 9 months of the year. Included
are the prestigious Sidney Banks meeting in February, and the Easter Monday and
August Bank Holiday fixtures. Their ever popular ladies evening is back again
on May 29th for another year of glitz glamour and racing! Leading us through to
the highly esteemed Boxing Day meeting, the busiest race of the year with an
unparalleled atmosphere.
Huntingdon Racecourse don’t draw the line at just racing, they have Extensive
hospitality, advertising and sponsorship opportunities to make it a day to truly
remember. The Peterborough
Chase restaurant offers delicious 2 and 3 course restaurant packages, including
your reserved table for the day and private viewing balcony. If you are looking
to build customer relations, gain new clients, meet with the decision maker and
increase overall sales, corporate hospitality provides the perfect opportunity
for this with your own exclusive box for that race meeting.
The new 2.7 million Cromwell Stand offers a modern multi functional facility bringing a breath of fresh air and an extra dimension to any event. This versatile venue can accommodate conferencing, banqueting and exhibition space whilst offering panoramic views of the racecourse. A gorgeous location for weddings and parties alike, with vast outdoor facilities/marquee space and generous free parking.
Accompanied children aged 18 and under can come racing for free any time. On Sunday and Bank Holiday fixtures we usually have free children’s entertainment ranging from bouncy castles and pony rides, to The British Horseracing Education & Standards Trust (BHEST), behind the scenes tours. We are passionate about the next generation, and we therefore work with BHEST to incorporate educational and rewarding activities for young people, giving them hands-on learning at racecourses and introducing them to the sport and associated career opportunities.
The Racecourse has excellent road links situated only half a mile off the A14 at junction 22. The A14 links the A1, M1, M11 and M6. This allows easy access from the North and South, along with the West Midlands and the East Coast.
