Luminus supports local community station HCRfm
Luminus, the UK's number one for leadership, employee work-life balance and strong moral principles is lending encouragement to people in Huntingdon by helping to get HCRfm's new building up and running.
The exciting project will give people within a five mile radius of Huntingdon their own community radio station focusing on news, a familiar brand of 'hits and memories', friendly presenters, local news and most importantly, community involvement.
Luminus Group Chief Executive, Chan Abraham said
"In 2010, our year of Renewing Hope and Inspiration, Luminus is delighted to be able to support such a fantastic local project that will benefit so many people in and around Huntingdon.
We believe all our people are heroes and Luminus carpenters Jonathan and Mark with electrician Kevin have worked hard for two weeks transforming the empty room into a studio with equipment store and a producers' work area. Luminus has also provided numerous materials to supplement those already sourced by the radio station. HCRfm will then furnish the room ready for the launch in Spring 2010.
Our tradesmen have enjoyed working on this very worthwhile project and we look forward to playing an active part in supporting our local radio station."
