Creativity in Lock Down

Two actors, both alike in dignity, treat neighbours to a lockdown performance of Shakespeare.   Two houses,  in fair north London is where we lay our scene.  Two actors forced to adapt by the lockdown, have begun to perform Shakespeare’s greatest works — by shouting the lines from their windows.

Ruth Gibson and Ché Walker, who live opposite each other, delighted neighbours in Hampstead last week with a performance of Romeo and Juliet. The pair delivered the balcony scene, when Romeo hides in the orchard looking up at his beloved, to about 30 spectators.
