Postboxes painted blue to thank NHS workers on front lines of coronavirus outbreak

The Royal Mail has decorated five pillar boxes as a way of thanking NHS workers on the front lines of the coronavirus outbreak.  The postboxes have been painted blue with the message “Thank You NHS” printed across it.

They are located in four locations, near St Thomas’ Hospital in central London, Trafford General Hospital in Manchester, Royal Edinburgh Hospital, University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff and The Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.   The Royal Mail has said that the locations were selected to represent the four nations of the UK.
