Hairdressers and salons were among the services asked to close their doors five weeks ago, on March 24, after Boris Johnson’s address to the nation the evening before. But how long to wait until they re-open? Judging by the rest of Europe, lockdown is slowly, and cautiously, being lifted in stages over the next month. Other European countries are following suit with France and Spain planning to keep their lockdown in place until later next month.
