James, the Butler

James is a Scott, a bit of a con man with a dubious past.  Whilst in the employ of the Colonel he conned the gardener, Tom, out of all his savings by persuading Tom to put the money on a horse.  Needless to say the horse lost and so did Tom.  James then worked his way into next door Lord & Lady Bosson and persuaded them to employ him as their butler.  At the present time, he is playing ball and not getting into any trouble.  Will it last?
