About the event

Join us for some fresh air and a chance to meet, walk and chat with other parents at this relaxing, buggy-friendly site. These sessions will all be outdoors and socially-distanced. We will head out for a gentle stroll on the nature reserve and enjoy the company, peace and tranquility of Paxton Pits.  We will stop part way around to sit and chat. Please ensure you read what to bring. Please note we sadly we will not be able to accommodate toddlers at this session as we will be gently walking at a pace/distance more suited to adults.

More detailed information will be outlined in your confirmation email once you have booked onto the session, however, it is important that you read the following information before you book onto the session.

  • During the session you will be required to socially distance from other households at the Government recommended 2m. This includes households that you may know.
  • All participants will be required to use sanitising hand gel on arrival. This will be provided by us and will be available for you to use at any additional points during the session, should you wish to.
  • All equipment used on the day will be quarantined or cleaned after each session and each household will have their own set for the duration of that session.
  • Pre-booked tickets only.
  • Please bring a re-useable bottle pre-filled with water, or a flask as we are sorry we currently will not be able to provide drinks here. Please be aware all litter/recycling will need to be taken home with you.
  • FOR THE SAFETY OF EVERYONE INVOLVED YOU MUST NOT ATTEND this event on the day if you or anyone in your household has symptoms of coronavirus – a high temperature, a new continuous cough or change to your sense of smell or taste. Please also do not attend if you have a sore throat, headache or diarrhea as these can also be symptoms. Please do not attend if you have coronavirus, or have had in the last 14 days. Also if you live with someone who has symptoms, is waiting for a test result or has tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days or if Track and trace have informed you, you have been in contact with a person who has coronavirus, do not attend.
  • To support the UK Government track and trace initiative we are collecting contact details at the time of booking. Any contact information you give will be held securely and will be used if needed for track and trace purposes. It will be securely destroyed 21 days after your visit.
