In today’s age of modern technology, everyone is potentially at risk from telephone and online scams, as well as doorstep fraudsters and mail scams. So it was great that we were recently joined on OTY by Cambridgeshire’s Community Protection Manager, Charlotte Homent, who gave us a wealth of useful information on how to spot, avoid and report a variety of scams!
In fact there was so much information we didn’t get through it all, so we will be having Charlotte back soon with even more advice on being scam-aware.
But don’t worry if you missed the show, because below is a range of useful contacts and links to help you become more aware and able to spot a bogus caller, dodgy deal or right rip-off! So check these out, and help stamp out scams in our region!
