Wood Green needs your help.

Wood Green, The Animals Charity is urgently appealing for volunteers to help process stock donations at its centre in Godmanchester.

With many people clearing out their homes during lockdown, Wood Green’s stock collection service has been a huge success and the warehouse is full of items that were generously donated to help pets in need. The charity is now seeking volunteers to help sort and process the pre-quarantined donations, ready for sale in the charity shops.

Mark Kingerley, Retail Volunteer Manager at Wood Green, said: “This is a brilliant opportunity to build valuable work experience, or simply to get of the house and meet likeminded people, whilst playing a part in changing vulnerable pets’ lives. Any time you are able to give will make a big difference.”

No experience is necessary as full training will be provided. The warehouse is open from 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday. Strict COVID-19 measures are in place, including personal protective equipment and social distancing, providing a safe and fun environment for volunteers.
