Caprese Salad Sourdough

Fresh, quick and always deliciously filling, caprese salad on sourdough

Ingredients

Salad Leaves

2 Slices Sourdough

1 Ball Mozzarella

6 Heritage Tomatoes

6-10 Basil Leaves

1tsp Good Quality Salt

1tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Drizzle of Aged Balsamic

Method

– Slice your sourdough and lay on a plate and dress with salad leaves.

– Next, slice the mozzarella and tomatoes and place into a dish. Drizzle with the olive oil and sprinkle the salt.

– Tear the basil leaves and lay across the top. Mix together then split between the two pieces of bread.

– Drizzle the balsamic across the top and enjoy for a delicious and filling lunch or light evening meal.

– Yup, thats honestly it.
