Christmas Sprouts

Christmas Brussel Sprouts

INGREDIENTS

1 pack smoked streaky bacon chopped into strips
3 sprigs thyme
2 cloves garlic minced
1 knob butter
Now for the method

•Take the ends off your sprouts and put into a pan of salted water
•Boil the sprouts for approximately 7 minutes
•Take to the sink and run the cold tap into the pan until the water is cold, leave for a few moments (this
will stop the cooking process but still keep the beautiful green colour of the sprouts)
• in a large frying pan fry your bacon until just colouring
• Add in your sprouts, butter, thyme and minced garlic and saute for 5 mins until just catching
