
This is a recipe for a simple spaghetti sauce that is so versatile, it can be used for spaghetti, meatballs or even a pizza base.
Ingredients
2 small Onions chopped
4 Cloves Garlic chopped
1 tin chopped tomatoes
1 dessert spoon of caster sugar
Sprinkle of salt and pepper
1 tsp oregano (optional)
Method
- Pan fry your onions and garlic on a low heat until translucent and just browning
- Add in your tomatoes , sugar , salt and pepper
- Simmer on a low heat until reduced and thickened
- Season to taste
- Feel free to add any herbs you like I love oregano
