Soft White Rolls

A recipe for Soft white rolls, they are delicious served warm with melting butter.


500g strong white bread flour, plus extra for dusting/kneading

1 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

2 tsp dried yeast

30g butter softened

75ml milk, warmed

225ml warm water



Mix all ingredients together and knead for a good ten minutes , place in an oiled bowl with a damp tea towel over the top some where warm and allow to double in size

Knead again and divide into 8 equal balls place on a tray and allow to double in size again then either cook in the oven at 180 for around 12 mins or until golden
