Fancy Joining us?
There isn’t a pay-cheque at the end of the week, but there is a lot of satisfaction to be gained from working in a community radio station.
Here at HCR104fm we need lots of help to keep us on air, whether that be with planning, presenting, producing, selling advertising, administration or just spreading our name around.
If you’d like to get involved, send us a message and we’d love to meet you and have a chat. We are also actively seeking certain volunteering positions – please see below for the most up to date list.
Community Advisory Group – Make a Difference!
Huntingdon Community Radio has made a commitment to improve community representation within our organisation.
We are therefore looking for volunteers from all sections of the community including current members of our organisation, to be at the forefront of making a difference, embracing and driving change to ensure that Huntingdon Community Radio makes positive steps to become a more inclusive organisation. We are calling this important team the Community Advisory Group.
Being part of this exciting new group could provide you with the opportunity to be an active member of our Management Team, reporting on a monthly basis, suggesting and monitoring change. Further, you will help to ensure diverse groups are represented specifically on our flagship community access programme Over To You as well as within our general programme delivery to listeners, volunteers and other stakeholders.
If this sounds like a role that you would be interested in then please let us know using the form below by selecting ‘Community Advisory Group’, and outlining why you think you can make a difference within our organisation.
Huntingdon Community Radio is committed to equal opportunities. We aim to ensure that no potential volunteer or stakeholder will receive less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, gender reassignment, age, pregnancy, maternity, disability, ethnic origin, religion and or belief, sexual orientation, marriage or civil partnership. We will also not impose any conditions or requirements, which disproportionately disadvantage any group, which cannot be justified in terms of the needs of the job or the service provided.
