Our first Charity of the Month in 2024 is Cruse Bereavement Support

Cruse Bereavement Support, is our first Charity of the Month. The charity helps people through one of the most painful times in life – with bereavement support, information and campaigning.

Cruse is the UK’s leading bereavement charity.  Last year (2022) Cruse nationally answered 31,500 help line calls and over 100,000 bereaved people were helped by a volunteer or staff member.  1.5 million people visited our website looking for help.

Cruse offers face-to-face, group, telephone, email and website support. We have a Free phone national helpline and local services throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Our website Hope Again provides support for young people. Our services are provided by trained volunteers and are confidential and free.

Cruse provides training and consultancy for external organisations and for those who may encounter bereaved people in the course of their work.

Cruse offers support through their website, national helpline, group, zoom, telephone or one-to-one in person support. Cruse wants to make sure everyone grieving gets the help they need in a way that works for them.  We have a specially trained dedicated team of 4,000 bereavement volunteers.
