Have Your Say

Have your say on which District Council priorities are important to you

Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC) is inviting residents across the District to have their say on the council’s priorities as the council looks to plan, prioritise and invest in services that are important to people.

The council adopted its new Corporate Plan at the start of the year and as it looks to set new actions for 2024, it is seeking the views of residents to make sure they reflect the things that are important to people. The findings will also help inform the council’s budget setting process as it works to develop proposals for 2024/25 and beyond.

HDC’s Corporate Plan outlines seven outcomes the council is trying to achieve. These outcomes cover a broad spectrum, from improving the happiness and wellbeing of residents to delivering high value-for-money services with compliance to statutory obligations.

Councillor Sarah Conboy, Executive Leader of Huntingdonshire District Council, said: “As we work towards a better, greener, fairer Huntingdonshire, we want to make sure that we are continuing to prioritise the things that matter most to our residents.

“By sharing their thoughts on what our priorities should be as we look ahead to 2024, we can use this feedback to inform the actions within our Corporate Plan for next year and our budget proposals to make sure, where possible, we are investing in the things that are important to people.”

The survey can be found online at https://letstalkhuntingdonshire.net/council-priorities-survey and is open until Wednesday 29 November.
