Summer Organ Recitals @ St Neots Parish Church (St Mary's)
Aug 10 @ 12:15 pm – 1:15 pm

The organ at St Mary’s dated from 1855 and is an example of the fine workmanship of the Victoria era.

Lunch time recitals are free and start at 12.15pm.    Each performance has a different organist:

Wednesday 20th July –  organist Lloyd Barnett of the St Neots Parish church

Wednesday 27th July – organist, David Price – Thailand

Wednesday 10th August – organist, David Smith, Christ Church, St Leonard’s on Sea

The Great Ouse:  Abbots, Eels and Vikings

Guided walking town tour plus refreshments.

The Great Ouse is as much a character in the story of St Ives as any man or woman of the town. Discover its importance to the local culture, economy and everyday life throughout history!

£5.00 per person (including refreshments)

The tour will start and finish at The Norris Museum.

After the town tour, visit our Community Room for tea, coffee and cake – all included in the price of your ticket.

Recommended for ages 12+ due to the walk. Families welcome!

Huntingdon Carnival weekend & Live in the Park @ Riverside Park
Aug 13 @ 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm

Huntingdon Carnival Weekend – with Live in the Park on Sunday

Saturday on the Riverside Park from 12 noon.

The Carnival Parade will arrive at the Park at 12.30pm and the prizes will be awarded,  in the area, for the best in the categories for the parade.

Arena displays: from 1pm:   Miss Molly, Huntingdon Ukulele’s, GDA and Debs Sumba.

Lots of charity, craft and commercial stalls.  Fun Fair.  Refreshments. Licenced bar.

Free entry and programmes.

Sunday – is Live in the Park Day with 7 Live Bands from our Carnival Stage.                          Bring your own chairs .  All the fun fair rides, some stalls, refreshment outlets and the licenced bar will still be open.

12 noon – The Decanters

1pm – Alternative Split

2pm – Babblefish

3pm – So 80’s

4pm – The Knottleys

5pm – Tenmoku

6pm – Big 10.

7pm close


St Neots & District Garden Club Annual Show @ Jubilee Hall,
Aug 13 @ 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm

On show will be horticulture, floral art and children’s classes.
